Managed to download a book of Damon Runyon's New York short stories onto my kindle today - stupidly I loaned someone my copy and never got it back! Now I have it on the kindle I won't lose it again
Alex Ferguson my autobiography, not a big reader of autobiography's but this is well worth a look
Just starting Spycatcher again, not read it since the furore in the late 80's.
Reading a Christie present. Peter Kay the book. Quite good, a few laughs.

Brysons new book "One Summer"

Its a good read, as anything by Bryson always is, although I have to admit to having speed-read through the baseball chapters ...just a tad too much info for this Brit reader !

A book called 'Nothing' - a collection of articles by New Scientist writers - about the science of 'nothing'.

I enjoyed The Hunger Games.
Just finished Margaret Atwood's "MaddAddam" (after consuming "After The Flood" & "Oryx & Crake" - the other parts of the trilogy some time last year)

Quite good fun, if occasionally a bit stilted for me.

I'm reading the Alchemist's Secret by Scott Mariani - I love this sort of thriller, with historical context.
Just started the first book in the"Tears" series by Paul Henke.The fifth and final book is going to be published in February.OH has read the first four and enjoyed them.
I've just started the latest installment of Stephanie Plum's antics, Takedown Twenty by Janet Evanovich, they always cheer me up (and I need that at the mo)
