Question On Who Dares Wins
7 Answers
This is STILL puzzling me. Tonight the question was to name two letter words in the English language. They lost the round for giving the word "is" as an answer. Nick knowles explained the criteria, and said that "is" was not acceptable as it "could be put together with other words" for instance isn't and he's, but surely "is" is a correct answer. It can be used alone as "is it"? or "it is". Can somebody please clarify this. (Always assuming you can understand my rambling). Thank you.
