Mobile email

I really wanted to have email as text alerts on Hotmail on my phone but the service doesnt use the mobile service T-Mobile. Can anyone suggest other free email service that i can join and get text alerts when new emails come ?

I assume by what you say in your post, that you are with T-Mobile? I personally am with Orange, and they supply me with a free webmail account as well. This account of mine notifies me when I get email. Have you checked to see if T-Mobile offer a similar service?
