Embedding Stuff Into Ab
38 Answers
Afternoon!
We're thinking about adding a few more services to embed into the site - in the same way we do with YouTube.
What sites would you like us to try and make this possible for?
Examples would be: Flickr, Imgur, Spotify, Dictionary.com etc...
Not all will be possible, but throw some ideas out about what you'd like, and we'll try our best!
All the best,
AB Editor.

I take it that the 'viewer' doesn't have to wait for things to auto download and auto run on entering the thread when they weren't interested in viewing that particular content anyway ?

I wanted to post this video on here but couldn't find it on YouTube - it would be handy if this could be embedded just like the YT ones.

I'm rather cautious about this. It is not difficult to click a 'clicky link' if we want to see the media but it could be darned frustrating to have videos and music automatically open unexpectedly, especially when on a restricted data plan or slow internet.
Perhaps there could be option to disable embedded media so that it shows as clicky links?
