Union Flag Scarf Olympics

I have seen a few of the GB competitors Mums with a Union Flag scarf and although it is about the same size as the normal flag it is not just red and blue like the normal flag it is almost transparent when they hold it up and it looks as if it is made up of a red and blue floral pattern
do you know where they are from
