Naomi.. you might be having problems with your browser caching since the update. i.e Internet explorer is still showing you the version of the site before the update. Please try pressing CTRL+F5 together on your keyboard to clear the cache, and try again? I had the same issue on my PC with Internet Explorer 11, but it was resolved after the cache clearing.

I posted an answer using the Edge browser but it has not appeared here.
@naomi......I don't like IE or Chrome. My choice is Firefox.

Incidentally, I have just tested my IE 11 and am convinced that is where the problem is because it reacts for me exactly as it does for you.

Sorry to give you bad news. Be interesting to know if ED is able to do anything to rectify matters.

I have just tested the lesser known Mercury browser on iPad, and that is working very well.
Something odd has happened. I typed an question using Edge to see if it worked. The question appeared in my profile but I can't see it here. The other thing which worried me at first was when I came back to Chrome and clicked on a thread it took me to the last page and wouldn't let me go back. Fortunately clearing history seems to have solved that issue.
Just tried Opera Mini v14.0 on iPhone 6, iOS10.2.1 and it does not seem to be working. I never use this browser, but I thought you might like to know it won't work.

Hans, thank goodness for that! With all the kind advice I tried, I couldn't imagine what on earth I could be doing wrong. Thanks for trying it out.

Well I am going to log off and take my constitutional trip to the promenade. Probably a fortuitous time to do so as things seem to be bubbling up nicely over in spat corner. The site has been impeccable all morning Ed and has performed better than for many a year, I do not even employ the unmentionable, and have been offered countless "hot deals" for Desert Boots since having a look for a pair of sage green Roamers originals this morning. :))
@murraymints...I feel really flattered that I am making your toes curl.

Actually, I do not have any problem with this site, possibly because I use Firefox as my Browser. However I did test IE 11 because of naomi's difficulties. Pity she doesn't try another Browser because there is certainly a problem with Internet Explorer when posting into sites, and it's not confined to AB.

Hans, I could do that but it wouldn't solve the problem for anyone else using Internet Explorer, including anyone who might join The AnswerBank in the future. The problem has to be fixed.

I use IE 11, no problems at all.
I have ventured in the unchartered territory that is IE11 just to see how AB works on it.
