Sometimes, there is a few good answers to a posters question, but only one can be selected, and I sometimes would like to appreciate other answers, even though it might not be my question.

Why couldn't we have two small boxes in each answer box, one red, one green to tick if we like or dislike the answer, red for dislike, green for like.

In that way, it would give other posters who have answered, an idea of what others think.

You seem to be confusing AB with FB.
The only positive and sensible way to improve AB's best answers is to abolish them.
BA for Sqad ! lol xx
I think it could lead to problems and I can't see what would happen if A gave a 'like and B gave ave a 'dislike'- would AB show both? I think most of us can already tell whether someone likes or disagrees with an answer
Since not every poster uses the Best Answer then they are largely irrelevant. I answer because I enjoy chasing down the correct answer not for an award.
Or,.....,....... Just post, great/ rubbish reply ?
Sqad has given a good response.....He has said..."The only positive and sensible way to improve AB's best answers is to abolish them."

I also think Best Answers are a waste of time. It is the case that I have sufficient Best Answers to be awarded a Silver Badge in Technology, but I haven't even received my Bronze.

I never award a 'Best Answer' although I always give feedback to any question I ask.

Hans.

Just add a reply - 'That was great advice X' or conversely 'Don't do as X says it doesn't work'.

BAs are largely irrelevant.
