Where Does My Question Disappear To?

Just asked a question. I hadn’t selected a catagory before posting, and when prompted to choose, for example news, my question disappeared. Can’t be bothered typing it out again.
Why does this happen?

I don't think I've ever had this but I don't post many questions and when i do i probably usually start in the section I want to be in. If you'd used the browser back top left of your screen you should have been able to get back to where you were.

I always go to the topic I want to ask in, so can't help you there.

Have never had to choose a category.

Hopefully someone from AB Towers may know.

It's my guess that you are using the question box on the opening page of the Answerbank site, which, the moment you click into the box, a further box opens for 'further details' along with a request for a 'category'.

Far safer to open a Category from clicking top left of page View all categories'.
