Should the links in the Latest Posts section take you to the first page of the thread in question as it does currently, or should it be changed to take you to the last page of the thread?

Once you have opened a thread you only have to click on 'Last' to go to the last post,don't see a problem.

I didn't say it was a problem after all I have done that over the many years that I have been on AB.

It just make sense that if one wants to read the latest post it is better to go straight to the last page.

I would leave it as it is. If I want to read the whole thread I can do so. If I only want the last page I can click on that.

Most ABers when they click on Latest Posts want to read just that, so it makes sense to go directly to the recently posted posts.

If anyone wants to read earlier posts, then they have only to select the relevant page.

I can't see that it makes a blind bit of difference. Either way you just click on first, last or any page in between.

What about those of us who want to read the threadbecause we've been out and about/doing something else and haven't seen it before?

Change it to the last answer given, because people can still scroll up and read the question at the top of the page.

Apologies, it isn't great, I used the last one that was up & didn't play making it perfect, but it shows the idea - each word being "clickable".

Would it be possible to have 2 clickable links - one saying '1st Page' and the other saying 'Last Page' ..... or something like that? Then we could individually choose our preference.
