Does that mean you are off to do some skiing somewhere nice?
It's stormy out, take care Melv x
Yeah - I tried to get into my outlook email. they made me click and click until I have got something so unfamiliar - drast.
My PC keeps "crashing" using this site also. I'm using Windows 7 and Firefox. Could it really be the adverts?
Good Afternoon Melv16.

We've not had any trouble with The AnswerBank today and there certainly isn't an issue with the advertisements. What kind of issues are you experiencing?

To help us try and replicate the issue, could you please also let me know what mobile device and browser you are using?
Hi melv......'Offski'....Surely you mean 'off-piste' or is it 'piste-off'. !!

Seriously, it could be your Browser.

I've had to post this reply on my laptop. My mob is a nokia Lumina and my browser is Internet Explorer.
The symptoms are the page freezing then crashing. The page also disappears off my phone.
I dont get any of the above with other sites, even with news sites which contain a lot of data.
//... my browser is Internet Explorer. \\

Rolls on floor literally wetting himself with laughter. No wonder you're having problems, only cavemen use IE these days.

Ug.
some of us cave men don't have a choice. I use an employer's resource and IE it is, as I don't have admin rights to load anything else. regularly I suffer the curse of the "long running script", probably from a badly written ad. I can't write posts online, the page crashes long before I've finished; I have to write off line and cut 'n paste and hope the page remains active long enough to receive the text. just one of those things I guess - it's always been so and probably won't change..
I am with jackdaw on this one.

Internet Explorer is the worst of Browsers and I doubt that any Techie member of AB would say otherwise.

Have a read on the Internet about other Browsers and have a serious think about Opera, which has a special feature to deal with too many adverts.

Hans.
