Sorry to do this on the website, Ed, but I emailed you over 10 days ago. I gave you 2 email addresses, both still active. I used the form in
"Contact Us" to email you. I provided a link to help with my question, but so far I have had no response from you. Can you advise please?

Apparently not!
if it was to do with removal or a post or posts or a thread then the rules state that no correspondence will be entered in to.
10ClarionSt, we haven't had any emails from you. I've checked the inbox and our spam folder, and there's nothing there. We've just tested the contact form and it is working correctly. I don't know why the email in question hasn't arrived with us, but it isn't due to a problem on our end. If your query still stands you could email it to us directly: [email protected]

Thanks Ed. I used the "Contact Us" facility and supplied details as requested. As far as I can see, there is nothing wrong at this end either.

Woofgang, what else could anyone contact Ed about? It was actually a query about clarification of Site Rules.
One thing to remember which I'm sure you know - email address needs to correspond with the one on your profile.

That's what I've always been told anyway.
Question Author
One of the email addresses I supplied, does correspond with the one on my file.
If it's a query about the rules, rather than spend even more time trying to contact the Ed, why not just post it here? The answer could be beneficial to all.
Perhaps AB Rules need an up-date from those published in December 2010.

Hans
We update the rules when we feel the need to update the rules. The time since the last update is not a factor in this.
Does the process result in a copy of the message to the Ab Editor being sent to the person's e-mail inbox? If no, could that be changed?

That would be a confirmation the contact had been received at your end.
Question Author
My query was that on occasions, Site Rules are conveniently ignored.
You still banging that drum, 10C? You'll give yourself ulcers if you let things wind you up.
Question Author
I followed the directions to contact "the team". That link didn't work. Obviously Site Rules and their implementation mean nothing to you, hc.
10cs, I doubt that you will get any reply from the Eds until Monday.
If your complaint concerned the thing we had a lot of discussion about recently you will know that the ABEd approved of the post long before it was posted, so there were no Site Rules broken. As you know, the most important rule on AB is that the ABEd can make decisions and his decision is final.
Question Author
Some decisions are more equal than others. Besides, hc, you don't know what I asked in my email to "the team". Ed says my email wasn't recieved, so will say she(?) doesn't know either. Some things stink of hypocrisy.
I’ve always received a very courteous reply
Did you try again using ...

[email protected]
Question Author
No Mama. I didn't because other users seem to be aware of the nature of my complaint, so I'm quite sure Ed is too.
Give myself ulcers?!! :o)
