Redundant

Ed, a suggestion.
The subsidiaries of Body and Soul have now become redundant and that Body and Soul is now taking the brunt of the vast majority of relevant (and irrelevant)postings.
Is it time now just to retain Body and Soul and jettison the 3 subsidiaries?
My main concern is that the rare, but relevant posting may get lost and not receive the attention that is deserved by posting in a subsidiary of Body and Soul.

If someone were that concerned, would they not look through the subcategories for new threads?
If they are rare, shouldn't take that long, should it?

Yes, you may well be correct, however my concern is the lack of use, may well then bring into consideration their actual existence. My experience from a personal point of view is that one has much more chance of being answered in CB, than in a subsection.

All the subsidiary categories should certainly either be removed or at least a proper hierarchy created that is actually accessible on all devices (!)
It's always been an illogical mix: it would be better to have certain categories with no subsidiaries, and other categories which are simply headers for their subsidiaries. That would seem a better way of managing it.

If the sub-categories were jettisoned what would ABers use for their 'personal' chatrooms?:
