morning all, its saturday, the weekend starts here. I hope you are all ok, and that you have a good day whatever you might be doing. I have no plans as such, but will see what the weather delivers. Its getting cooler here and its a sure sign of autumn. Had a nice lunch with friends yesterday at the local inn, one that i will go back to at some point.

morning 1ozzy
not too bad, the pain is still there, but walking helps, and doing gentle stretching exercises. How are you today?
Surviving, somehow.
Hope you find some relief soon.
Question Author
no worries as you might say, it will go when it will.
Question Author
why just surviving?
Not much else to do, can't visit anyone, can't leave the area that I live in.
Ho hum, that's life at the moment .
Did my good deed for the day, went over the road to my elderly neighbour and split firewood for her, gotta keep old bones warm ;-)
Question Author
i have a phone call from a friend in NI, who keeps in contact, at 11.30am then will see how the day pans out.
Question Author
that's a nice thing to do, sure she appreciates it...
perhaps once you are all or as many as possible are vaccinated then things will get better.
" No worries mate "
If you want to sound like a fair dinkum Aussie:-)
Things will improve once we hit a certain number of vaccinations.
Another month maybe.
Question Author
it's tough i know, we will get through it, but it's just going to take some patience,
You people have suffered more than us.
Just having a little whinge
Question Author
my friend in Australia should have received my letter by now, she's the one that lives in WA. I hope she is ok, and phones me at some point soon, to let me know how she is getting on.
Question Author
endless lockdowns, people not seeing their families, has been hard to bear.
Hopefully you'll hear from her soon
Question Author
i do hope so, as she is 92/93 she isn't in the greatest health - but we have nice chats when she calls me. I am wondering whether to send her daughter in Dubbo a card/letter to ask her how her mum is doing.
Wouldn't hurt.
Dubbo is in strict lock down.
Covid is on the rise there.
I usually go there to do my shopping, not at the moment though
Question Author
it's why Bev hasn't seen her mum in 18 months or so, she hasn't been able to fly over to Yokine, WA, which she does several times a year.
or more sometimes. I hope my friend hasn't passed away, though i am sure Bev would let me know if that had happened.
If you're in contact off site with Boaty he could give you an email address for me.
If you like I could contact the daughter and pass on your concerns
Question Author
no i can't do that Bev doesn't do social media at all. She prefers to stay out of it. Thanks for the offer though, its much appreciated.
