morning, Saturday already and the weekend starts here, i hope that you are all in good health, if not then as always you have my sympathy, and that you have as good a day as possible.
Anything planned for today? I couldn't get back to sleep so here we are.
I have a friend coming over later this morning for a coffee and a natter which will be good.

Morning, Emmie. I had my supper/dinner/tea around 8pm than watched TV for 3 hours, and then thought I'd check in here to see what's going on.

forecast here in the capital is for partly sunny skies with a high of 16c, needs to up that a bit to be truly warm.

I'm OK, thanks. My sister is coming here on Saturday for her weekly visit and to bring some groceries. What's all this palaver about global warming? It's getting towards the end of April, and it's only going up to 6 on Saturday!

that's good, glad to see you have company, and i have no idea about global warming, it doesn't seem to affect our part of the world much.

too busy for my taste, i prefer the nice hum of people having a quiet drink and dinner. Though the place obviously attracts a lot of people.

Yes, too crowded. I'm content to watch it from about 1,000 miles away.

indeed, i haven't been out of an evening for yonks, prefer if or when i get back to socialising to have a quiet drink in my local.

I haven't been in a bar for over two years. I'll only go out for a few drinks now if the bar has an outside patio and, obviously, the weather is really warm.

last tipple i had was at Christmas with the family.
