I have the latest iPad and the main problem is it keeps freezing when I am visiting a website. I keep refreshing the screen but the blue horizontal line in the top box only reaches a quarter of the way.
Then a message appears that Safari has lost contact with the server as I am not connected to the internet
I am connected the whole time.
I tried Apple Support and the language used is totally beyond what a person such as me can understand.
Anyone out there who can help with a simply worded solution ?

It seems that Answerbank is very poor at running under Safari - it clobbers my iMac (desktop) which almost grinds to a halt amidst warnings of shortage of memory fairly frequently.

That reads far more like a dodgy wi-fi connection than an actual problem with either your iPad or Safari. Try disconnecting the power to your router, waiting a short while and then reconnecting it again.

It's also worth clearing the cache in Safari, to see if it will help:

barry1010. My new ipad has Safari as its only browser, as did my previous ipad 13 years ago. The old ipad did not have this problem. I will investigate imstalling Brave.
AB is one of the few sites where I have no problems :)

barry1010. I will try installing Brave, if permitted. Both my old and new ipads had Safari as default browser. Old ipad did not have any problems. AB is one site where I have no problems :)

so sorry about the last post. I don't know what happened
Yep, I am getting this too. It is a bug, and hopefully they know about it, and will sort it in a future software update.
I avoid all the betas, but the official iPadOS’s have been very buggy this iteration.

Yep. I have worked out that deleting history and cache solves the problem. But we should’nt have go continually do that.
I use Google browser now.
Google is your search engine. Do you mean Chrome?
