Years ago I responded to a request to sponsor children in India. I said I would if I could sponsor a girl (cos I thought girls were getting a raw deal). They said "No - you can't choose".

Now they are all over the place asking for sponsorship specifically for girls. Well they can go whistle....

I believe Eton school is registered as a charity.
If you made a donation to it you would be helping boys as that's what most of its pupils are.

There is one called Boys in Mind, (maydup has already mentioned it ) that helps boys and young men who are struggling with mental health issues. Alongside that they run one called 'Girls matter too'

For many in developing countries education is a luxury, something so valued but sadly not accessible to everyone.
