Dear Ed. Is it time to review and update the powers that Mods have.
At the moment some, but not all Mods, are abusing the power bestowed on them by closing threads and removing answers just because they themselves have different opinions to the thread or answer posted .
Or even dislike the Aber who is making the post. It has even been known to close a thread . reopen to post their view then close again. Can we have a vote on these rules please.

gulliver - I have told you, and others, multiple times - you don't know which Moderators remove posts or close threads, or why - only the Ed and team have access to that information.

Therefore your accusation that Mods remove posts or threads because of personal bias or animosity is simply a figment of your imagination.

Yes, on one recent occasion, a Moderator did misuse their powers to re-open, post, and the re-close a thread, but the ensuing furore I am sure has ensured that this will not happen again.

As your scurrilous remarks are utterly without foundation, and a slight on individuals who try and make the site run smoothly, even in the face of constant baseless criticism from people like you, I suggest you refrain from your accusations.

If you wish to raise the issue of what you believe to be abuse of the system, then you should contact the Editor directly, and not accuse without basis in plain sight.

Thank you.
Awww, gawd.
And this from guliver who openly goads one mod and gets away with calling people thick
I honestly can say you have a damned cheek posting this drivel considering what you get away with on here, you contribute nothing at all to AB yet you have the audacity to do a post like this one, you should be suspended till you decide to grow up!
Bobbi - I hope your post was addressed to Gulliver ...?
Absolutely was Andy , I can’t believe he’s had the nerve to post this at all
Thanks bobs xx
It's about time the site remove this troll and his mates if you ask me.

TTT 09.00 Your trouble is , no one is asking you.
Not content with taunting the site moderators the poster is now goading the Editorial team. We are looking at someone who wants to be suspended or banned. Every thread involving him is becoming increasingly fractious.
Let me who is without trolling cast the first aspersion.
Alas this post has developed into a bashing session. If you dislike the poster, don’t contribute to their posts. It’s not difficult.
I am wary of posting on any threads where a particular mod is present, but it’s not difficult to evade others on AB .
I am sure that if any Mods closed threads or removed posts inappropriately, the ED would reverse those decisions and have, "words of advice" with those involved if it happened too often.
Of course Corby, but for some, nothing is ever going to be good enough.
If the OP doesnt like the rules then go, nobody will complain...
im sure i get loads of replies removed, i couldnt care less, i dont even bother looking back to check..meh

but note how desperate the OP is and how he whines when his posts/answers get removed and how scared he is of being thrown off for being a troll, he knows he wouldnt be tolerated anywhere else...
Jesus Baz, take a breath.
Reading Gullivers post I almost choked on my tea - pot, kettle and black comes to mind. I have stopped reading gullivers post as most are same old same old and I have better things to do with my time - Grow up!
must be the owners troublesome nephew or something, none of us would get away with his trolling.
TTT accusations of trolling are a bit hypocritical.
Well if goeffrey can spot it after only a week on answerbank it must be worse than what I seen
