OK I was suspended on Thursday evening for retaliating to a gulliver insult towards the end of this thread:

...I accept the action but can the mod that did it please explain why gulliver was not also suspended? This is the kind of bent refereeing that undermines this site.

I have to agree 100% with you Tora, Gulliver is the untouchable on AB and it’s becoming clear that he’s mainly here to increase traffic even though he’s ruined the News-section completely with his inane threads, his nonsense often exceeds 100 posts ( a lot by himself I might add) so it’s a case of letting him away with insults as long as the posts are rolling in, Mikey and AOG would no doubt be turning over seeing his drivel

Then why do you all respond to his inane drivel? Its simple - just spot the ridiculous headlines which point to one of his posts and pass right down the bus. No responses would mean no traffic and the Ed might finally accept what we are all saying - he is killing this site at least for the regulars. Any newcomers would soon find out too that News is anything but.
