Spicing Up Ab

Complaints that AB, and in particular the News section is being commandeered by a few people obsessed with Brexit, Boris, and the perceived ills of the government, abound, so here's an idea. If we don't make the effort to change it, it won't change, so how about it?

The first & foremost way to make AB attractive is to get rid of the donation pop-ups (for me on every page).
AB should remove itself from the 'powr' set-up & find a way to ask for contributions by some other method.
Having done that, we should then have beauty contest with a prize of £10. which I'm sure naomi will win & spend wisely on dog food :0)

Had Gully or one of the other 'outcasts' written this thread and made as many snipes as has been made against them, then MODS it would have removed it.
