Strangeness & No Charm...
This is relevant to both my PC & laptop (both running W10) & in Firefox, Edge & Chrome. Only AB is showing the symptoms.
For the last 3 days, when I open a thread the page loads slightly down from the top then jumps back up. I'll try to explain with some snippets -
This is what the top of the page looks like on loading - https:/
After a few seconds the page flicks back to normal - https:/
If I refresh the tab (in Edge or Chrome, not Firefox), it jumps to this - https:/
Everything's fully updated, I've tried the browsers in "Safe" mode (add-ons & extensions disabled), have cleared all the caches, & restarted the PC. SpareEd has told me via email that the techies haven't altered anything.
Is this really just happening to me? If that's a "yes", can anyone suggest where I go from here? It's very irritating & I want it to stop. Now. Forthwith.
All sensible suggestions welcomed 🤔🙂

Now I might be wrong as I dont have the code to hand nor the time to look but if was debugging this that is where I wouldl start.
Barry - I appreciate that another browser is an option, but it shouldn't be necessary. However, as your post suggested that I should try harder, I downloaded Brave & oh, look - exactly the same behaviour, though I grant it's faster at losing the extra space at the top of the screen.
Links post properly for me in the 3 browsers I named in the OP.
I said in the OP that the AB techies hadn't made any changes & your "...would have the same problems you are having." speaks to my point. Two people have since seen the same behaviour, so I'm glad that it isn't just me.

Copying links and YTube tunes has become a nuisance since the childish emoji facility was added. If You want to copy a web address(link-url) or YTube the only way to be sure is to only copy the bit off the site address from www onwards. Ignore the https:// bit at the beginning(that is in a lighter shade) and type that first in the answer box on a new line. Then paste the url that you copied beginning www. immediately after that with no space.
