And how are we all today? Another weekend over with, where did it go?? Have still been trying to do my ' Prep once, eat twice' new rule.....in other words, if you're in the kitchen making one meal you mite as  well try and do two lol(one for the freezer or fridge). So instead of making chilli in the slow cooker  for dinner for the two of us yesterday I tripled everything and did enough for 3 nights, so two went in the freezer. It's working brilliantly so far.... well worth a try.

Have loads to do today - just  need to summon up the energy to start any of it lol, but am sure I will.....

And need to stop eating toast for breakfast! Must start something a bit better..... what do we all have??

Morning AP. Now that sounds nice. Do you have that even in winter?

Good Morning,

I have eggs every morning either scrambled, poached or omelette.

Morning.

Everyday, porridge made with water with plain yogurt and fresh blueberries and grapes.

Morning all. Its tea, toast and tablets for me, very occasionally proper coffee. Its been a miserable weekend weather wise and one forecast I saw, its going to get colder soon. We are nearly at the shortest day then we are on the up, thank goodness.

have a happy day everyone

Morning all...a dry day today after much rain all weekend.  My amazon delivery got delayed yesterday (delivery by dpd not amazon) but I checked tracking and it's arrived at a facility in Cornwall. Fingers crossed!

I don't eat breakfast...instead I have 2 cups of coffee late a.m. I'm just not hungry. I made enough stew yesterday for 4 portions. I'm not a fan of frozen "left overs" except for stews, and things made with mince such as meatballs (many kinds), meatloaf, and curries.

Morning all. I vary breakfasts, but am rather fond of crumpets oozing with butter. I  know they are not all that good for you, but I do like them! Weather iffy here, can't decide what it is going to do. Off to do some food shopping before it starts raining, as no doubt it will.

Ooh now crumpets!!

I've recently found sourdough crumpets in both Sainsbury's and Aldi(cheaper). Supposed to be healthier as the dough is fermented. Oddly, though I've never been a huge crumpet fan, I love these.

Is there such a thing as higher rate state pension ?

lol I did wonder Bazile : )

I have always batch cooked, mainly things like spag bol, moussaka, lasagne.  Any meal there is too much of the extra always goes in.  I keep a record of what goes in so it does not get forgotten.

Breakfast, is always fruit (varied) couple of spoons muesli and yogurt.
