Life Is Comical Some Times
And I do like a ruddy good laugh. I had sometime to kill today so sat outside Currys. Out came a young guy with a very big TV on his truck to the waiting young lady and her ford focus.
She opened one of the rear doors ( not the hatch) and the 10 min struggle began, pushing, shoving, then the young lady opened the other door in the hope that also pulling would do the trick, no it didnt. The young guy than advised that folding the back seat down maybe the answer, and feed it in by the hatch she replied, I don't know how to fold the seats down. I doubt the young guy wanted to do it in case he broke something doing so.
After another few mins trying she got her phone out and made a call to whoever. I thought she may have been asking for instructions on how to fold the seats down NO. They both stepped back from the car with tv on the truck and waited outside the entrance of Currys. The young currys guy looked really hacked off. :•)
It was obvious the woman had called someone else to come and help or pick the tv up. What do you think turned up after about 25mins? another identical ford focus driven by a guy.
He lifted the hatch up and the seats had been folded down. The Tv went straight in.
Why on earth do people spend hundreds of pounds on a tv then try and cram it in any old how and risk damage.
And why on earth dont they take notice of the size of the item. Most large items Currys sell give unpacked size and packed size.
If candid camera came back on tv i guess it would be far more comical than first time round :○)
