Thatcher did get inflation down from over 15% which she inherited from Labour down to less than 5% if you read the link.  All Starmer is doing so far is putting it back up in between travelling around the workd non stop.

....and Rachel from accounts has got to be the worst chancellor in history. The 5C keep going on about the kami kwasi budget but that was not even implemented. What the tea leaf has done is 1000 times worse and we are all going to have to pay that price.

anthony eden- "the crown" had a good account - written by the man ("camel") who said - dont invade Egypt and Suez it will be a disaster. They fired him.
