Either Aunty Beeb has decided to post her big (4-part) annual quiz later than usual or we're not getting one this year 🤔. There are just the usual two quizzes for us to have a go at this week.

Having read your post, I think that I'll treat myself to some fish before Christmas.  (Probably sea bass but possibly rainbow trout, methinks).  I expect that I'll have three helpers when it comes to eating it! 🐟

Sorry about that! (One of my cats just bumped into a bedside lamp and, because I'd not got the bulb holder properly screwed up, managed to expose a live terminal, which he was about to investigate with his nose!  Saving my darling Chequers from electrocution temprarily took priority over accurate posting on this thread!)

Just about finished repairing the damage that Darragh wrought upon us but more gales due over the weekend....

Gobolino is great - already a marked decline in the rodent population -  and he is so friendly....I think he's definitely a keeper.

Another good week for me as tonight I scored

6/7 and 4/5

I have been feeling a little under the weather today, starting with a cold, so have been doing very little. Hoping it will go before the festivities get under way next week. 

Luckily, I am all done with the preparations so can afford to snuggle up under a throw with a hot water bottle. I am then looking forward to catching up with a few friends over the weekend.

Thanks for keeping me company this week!

I think that we'll avoid the worst of the weather this weekend but we're still expecting winds of around 45mph here on Sunday.

Yes, I do seem to have an extra big bag of lots of different types of special food for Chequers, Moonbeam and Tablo, which should keep them going throughout the Christmas period.

Need some light relief, OH in hospital w. pneumonia, was doing OK , but now a kidney complication.  

May I ask for positive thoughts to help him keep going?
