am i stupider than a photocopier?
i was told to use the photocopier the other day and i needed 20 copies of a document that was 18 pages long, now i thought i would have to copy them and then divide all the sheets up and then staple them altogether but no this darn photocopier done it all! it printed them and then stapled tham as the copies were coming out!
its a genius, im thinking like matrix style computers are gonna take over the world! or am i just being paranoid?

In my current work I have to use on on a daily basis and I still discover new things it can do to make my life easier. For example if you put an open book down it'll copy both and split in 2 A4's and not 1 A3. I can also put 10 pages through the feeder and it can turn it into 5 double sided.
It all certainly makes a boring job more fun. Can't wait to see what else I'll discover it can do.... yes I know I'm sad
Yeah great machine. But you know, if you think about it what all these semi-intelligent gadgets do is reduce the thinking and knowledge that the average user has to do/use until you will have no idea how to do the job yourself if you ever have to.
All these type of machines are making it easier to do more and more complex things which you don't understand yourself at all.
You know Osama Bin Laden had it wrong when he attacked the West directly (if you believe that story anyway) what he should have done was flood the Western world with more and more intelligent machines until the societies where totally dependant on them and then made them all self-destruct on the same day. Western civilisations would have collapsed within a week.
