how do u feel this new video will affect Bush and Kerrys campaign.... I see it as only helping the Bush campaign as people are not going to want to change presidents with someone like that around..... the changeover giving OBL a chance to strike again..... Could it be that they have already captured him (as was heavily hinted at months ago and were holding on to use him to the max before the election)...... could it be?

I don't think that the tape will make much difference to anyones campaign as it can be construed to be either a good or bad thing for both candidates in about equal measures.

 

I also don't think that they have captured him and are about to reel him out just a few days before the election, this would be a bit blatent even by American standards.  However, I hope I am proved wrong as the world will be be a better place without that guy at large.

In answer to the original question, it helps Bush, and OBL designed it to help Bush. By creating the stereotype of old adversaries bent on "getting" one another, OBL wants the US people to vote for the drama to continue, like a western series. OBL understands the Bush regime and has eluded it successfully. He doesn't want to take the time, trouble, and expense to get to the roots of a new one.

I think that even though OBL may have intended the video tape to help bush, with the controversy and conspiracy surrounding the bush regime the american public will vote for kerry as generally people all over the world have lost their faith in mr bush.
