mulled wine

i was looking how to make mulled wine and a lot of the ingrediants say 12 gloves but gloves of what????iv looked at 5 recipes and they all say gloves is this a spice or somthing???

I think you are misreading the recipe!
It probably says CLOVES and not GLOVES.LOL

Lidl do a reasonable bottle of gluehwein, I usually add a bit of lemon juice to counter the sweetness.

its def cloves but i woud say 12 is quite a lot, could be a bit overpowering, shwarz do a nice mulled wine spice mix, its like a tea bag and you pop it in the wine with some juice and brandy and heat up.

Hmmm - i really dont fancy a mulled wine with 12 gloves in it....lol

Sainsbury's do a nice bottle of mulled wine - just open, put in a pan and heat up...reasonably priced too from what i remember
