Did he really deserve all this?

This sad and pitiful case rears it's ugly head once again.
But this time we hear the story from the accused point of view, but more important we are told exactly what this woman was offended by.
It seems that it was because she assumed that she was somehow shunned in conversation etc.
Well perhaps so, but she should have accepted that things would not be the same for her. Yes she had entered a domain that until she arrived had inclusively been a male one, since its introduction 100s of years ago. Things were not going to be the same, special accommodation and facilities had to be provided, since she was the lone female in an otherwise male environment.
But having said all this and even if this Beefeater had been more horrible towards her, he did not deserve to loose his job, and his, his wife's and children's accommodation, all in the name of "Political Correctness".After all he had not committed a major crime, nor had he conducted physical abuse against this woman.
In the real outside world, the most he could have expected was to be dragged onto the carpet, with a sound verbal warning, and a slapped wrist, for his misdemeanour's

/// The process has been followed through and he's been found guilty.///
Well thanks for that, now you have stated the obvious, would you care to discuss the rights or wrongs of this case.
This is called debating on news items.
Let me try to help you if you are still not with it. "Did Timothy Evans deserve to hang"? (You know that type of thing).

I can't help feeling woman is making a mountain out of a molehill, and that this man is being made an example of in the cause of political correctness. It seems her main complaints are that he ignored her where possible, and that, in her presence, he swore more than he usually did (how would she know that?). No, I don't think he should have lost his job. Any sensible administration would have tried to resolve the differences these two people had.

/// “This group believes that Mark has been unfairly dismissed simply to make a politically correct ‘diversity’ gesture in order to appease certain elements of the Labour government and the left-wing media.”///
Once again the nasty left must be appeased.

/// I think it's wonderful this man was sacked. Absolutely brilliant.////
For such a trivial offence, to wish this upon a person who not only loses his job, but his innocent wife and children will also lose their home, at this "peace & goodwill to all men" time of the year, is nothing short of disgusting.
I normally am not the kind of person to wish anyone ill will, but in this instance I will make an exception for you sp1814, I really hope that very soon, you also lose your job, if not due to the recession, but perhaps by being sacked by your company, for spending too much of their time on their computers, posting on this site.
You disgust me.

I truly celebrate the fact that this odious individual has lost his job. What did that brave woman do to deserve that kind of treatment? Only served her country, that's what.
And then she has the honour of becoming Britain's first female Beefeater spoiled by some pathetic man who from what I read, behaved like a 15 year old school child.
We want more women like her in public life, and fewer men like him.
Perhaps he should've thought of his wife and kids before he started his bullying campaign.
The idiot.

So, this man changed a wikipedia entry about this woman and posted a lie. She complained to wikipedia, who informed the Tower. He was cautioned by the Police, and this instigated the investigation which has led to his sacking.
The only person to blame is himself. A bit of a sob story about losing his cushy job, but that job demands certain standards which sadly, he has not lived up to.

If you and others had read the link you would have noticed that it was a Bob Brown who altered Ms Cameron's Wilipedia entry.
/// Mr Sanders-Crook was suspended on October 23, three weeks after his Beefeater colleague Bob Brown, 57, was also suspended – for changing Ms Cameron’s Wikipedia entry to say that she was leaving the Tower for medical reasons, even though she isn’t.///
All the Beefeater in question was guilty of was shunning her.

///I think you're referring to Christmas.///
You are really struggling aren't you,
It is the last day of November if you hadn't noticed
Incidentally if this Male Beefeater had been Black, would you still be rejoicing that he had been sacked?
But then if he had been, they wouldn't have dared to sack him.

This lady seems a bit sensitive.
I wonder if a guardian of the monarch's treasures shouldn't be made of sterner stuff ?
Any potential thieves of the Crown Jewels wouldn't have to use explosives, or anything. They could just check when she was on duty, and then attack her with sexist comments, and then make off with the Jewels while she was crying in the toilets.
