Whilst sending a email I pressed the `Esc` button instead of the apostrophe and `Bad Request` panel prevents me from my `Homepage` and would appreciate your help to rectify this please.

I'd love to help you but I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Perhaps if you re-booth your computer your problem might be solved? Hopefully a 'techy' person comes on soon to help you.
i agree society i would reboot it also see if it fixes the problem as it sounds like it has froze ,so just turn it off and on again

hope this helps

I have tried re-booting and also system restore, but nothing works, thanks for your replies.
is it just the one page your getting bad request errors on or all pages?

if it's just the one page then it's most likely a problem with that page.

what was/is your home page?

so this should be your home page

http://www.virginmedia.com/

does it work if you click on the link?

if it does, then once the page has loaded click on tools > internet options and then on the section that say home page click on "use current page" to reset your home page.

I think the first thing I would suggest before doing anything else is run a full mailware scan with malwarebytes!

Download it, install it then run it select full system scan and click start (or is it "scan now" :))

Hi yo all, Well I have sorted it out myself and I feel very proud but wish to thank all for their suggestions, and hope that should it happen again I will remember what I did. So I'm going to try and make a note and print it out and stick it on the wall.
Why don't you post how you sorted your problem... perhaps it may help someone in future, should they encounter said problem.
