"Edit" feature on questions and answers.

Dear Editor, would it be possible to install an "edit" button, so that ABers who wish to alter their question/answer after they have posted it can do so? I am thinking of the "edit" feature that Yahoo!Answers has. Sometimes an ABer will click "submit answer", only to realize that he/she has made a mistake. The choice then is to let it stand, or to post a correction, which might appear out of sequence on the screen.

There are more rude/unpleasant comments on Yahoo!Answers than there are on AB, so some people who use the Yahoo site clearly aren't bothered about changing their rude remarks, even though they have an "edit" button. But the general tone of answers/questions on AB is generally quite polite, and some ABers do really seem to be concerned if they make a mistake, so maybe an "edit" button here isn't all that necessary.
