update for firefox

Hi, I got a pop up from firefox saying there was an update for adblock which I installed, then it came up that it was unsafe and had been disabled. Since then I have had nothing but trouble! I reinstalled firefox and adblock, it says it is done but nothing happens,the ads are still there and it doesn't seem to download anything. Same thing has happened with an update for zone alarm firewall, it pops up every time I switch on too, altho' it said it had installed it. In fact I can't seem to download anything, I just get a blank page a lot of the time. Hope I have explained this so someone knows what I am talking about, and can help before I go crazy!! TIA rosy

To rosyposy, I used Firefox for many years & I loved it until it started to behave like it has to you, so I dumped it and installed GOOGLE CHROME it's miles better why not try it.

Do full scan with malwarebytes. Free download. My nephews browsers internet explorer and firefox were infected with adware. Only malwarebytes could fix the problem.
