Unsuitable Avatar

If Ed considers an avatar to be unsuitable what happens? Is the av just "turned off" or is the user banned ?

Depends how unsuitable the Avatar is.

We can ban avatars without banning users. But you are unlikely to have an avatar again should something unsuitable be used.

I've got some quite explicit (though not obscene) avatars, and although I like to be controversial do not wish to offend. Don't want to risk losing the right to have an avatar as I think they add interest to this site.
