Is it possible to change my username slightly from moonraker558 to Moonraker

There's still time moonraker.......I posted to the Ed on Friday evening and I know for a fact that he is off duty each weekend. Hopefully, we might hear from him tomorrow when he's back on duty..........if not I'll probable chase him for a reply ; to what has now become my question. lol. :-)

Hi Ron, Just received my answer and it was a big no, stating if they did it for one they would have to do it for everyone and would get swamped by requests to do the same. I suppose the only other way would be to close myself down then rejoin under another name but I dont want to do that, so you are all stuck with me as I am.

Hi moonraker.....Sorry to hear the bad news. Incidentally, if you were to re-register, I think you would need to have another E/mail address to that which you have given to AB.; and of course another Avatar. (not too sure about the Avatar.) Personally, I don't think it's worth the complications.

Hi again moonraker .......I am still somewhat bothered that the Ed is unwilling to let you drop 558 from your username. It's not as if you are changing your identity; or sex for that matter; which I know he allowed one user to do so. There is a very highly respected member of AB who was listed as female and is now profiled as male; but I feel sure that, if I were to identify the person, it would be the end of me in the columns of AB.

Ron, you can change your sex yourself by going in to My Profile and clicking on Edit My Profile. Not sure why anyone would want to though.

I changed my sex in my profile for a joke one night and forgot about it so it stayed as female for some time.
