I have completed the poll . I am now back in Ireland and retired but I lived in the UK for 38 years and most of my family live there. Between travelling to UK and back each year and Canada I am in constant touch with my family. I love doing crosswords and I love this site. Some people are so knowledgeable. It's good to see brains working.
Shouldn't these questions be part of the membership application 'form'?
Removing jokes that have been up for 7 hours, albeit controversial to some, but not to others, is certainly not going to win you my support. It is pure unadulterated censorship and any more action like that, I shall join Naomi in leaving these fair shores. I did not realise I lived in a country called EGY-UK-PT. Perhaps Mubarak is flying into London this evening to replace Cameron?

Look I can do without your cheap shot remarks, sir-prize. It is your sort that drive folk from this site. It amounts to needless attempted bullying - being on this very thread, the Ed can read this.

I raised a legitimate remark about censorship of something that had been up for 7 hours......I suggest a change of Ed went on and what ever you think of the joke, the thread was a valid one. There were folk like you, but also a lot who liked it.

So back off.
There was no problem with the joke. The reference to yesterday's crash was offensive.
many did not think so. Ultimately we can agree to disagree over this.
Thanks for the offer DT. But it is unlikely I will ever agree with your motives or attitude.
Will you two just get a room ...
//. . . any more action like that, I shall join Naomi in leaving these fair shores.//

Do you think anyone cares about your threat - least of all the Ed?
That is your right and I respect that. I do object to your sniping though and personal comments, they aren't necessary.
there you go again.
Did you say personal comments?

//to be a total p-i-the-a//

Ermmmmmmm!
Is this a poll to help with the improvement of Answerbank? If so how?
Naz -lol
Why couldn't we the option of all three for the last question.
'Have'
Ed......I am crossword fan (Mail on Sunday etc.) However, the added remarks to your poll have come as something of a sir.prize to me.
