A little update...

Firstly I'd like to discuss issues with people emailing me. I get a truck-load of emails every single day and answering all of them takes the best part of 2 hours. I do try to respond to every message I am sent, but there are a select few that will go unanswered.

Examples of emails that I will ignore:

"My account has been banned! I want it reinstated immediately"

If you have been banned it happened for a reason. Most bans are down to abusive language, but my stance on the matter is that people who incite, provoke or engage in arguments are culprits too. There is a fine line between banter and trying to get a reaction out of someone, if you cross it, you will be removed.

THE EDITORIAL TEAMS DECISION IS FINAL

At the moment there is an issue with our spam filtering system which causes posters (who may have been genuinely answering or posting questions) to become suspended. This system is in place to stop people spamming links, flaming posts etc, but it also flags genuine people out who post frequently...

It's very stupid...

If you have been banned and you haven't done anything to worry about then please be patient, I will un-flag your account and you can post freely again. I apologise for the way that the system works and if I have my way it will be changed soon.

My final example of emails that get ignored:

"Mr. Ed... xxxxx has called xxxxx a name! I believe that xxxxx should be banned! If you're going to ban me, then be fair and ban xxxxx too!!!!"

Please, by all means report things to us, you are our eyes and ears after all, but don't think that we will be swayed by your arguments and cries of "impartiality". We work fairly and neutrally for the best outcome of Answer Bank and its users. Bribes, threats of lynchings and political sanctions won't work on us, sorry!

Ahhhh, now that's out of the way we can move on to the good stuff...

I want to say thanks to all of you that have been very open-armed to me over the last few days, some more so than others (thank you ladies, your errrr..."affection" hasn't gone unnoticed, oh and those presents you asked for are on the way).

I'm back in my "proper" offices now, which have just been converted into an underground vault to protect me from you Hardcore ABers. The air quality is awful and the lack on natural sunlight is starting to drive me insane, but the risk of walking on the surface and inadvertently bumping into one of you is far too great.

Ah, I kid.... I think you're all great!

Oh, and one quick thing before I go! As the Answer Bank expands, we here at AB Towers are looking for articles to be written and sent in to us, eventually to be hosted as content on our website in the relevant sections. They can be on anything, try to make the content 'ever-green' so that it will always have a degree of relevancy. So if you fancy it, why not write out about 350 words and send them into me, and if they're good enough, they'll get hosted on here. Keep it clean guys! An example could be "What Men don't get about Women", something that will always be fresh!
