ABlog is sad to hear that Parkie is hanging up his TV and radio boots. Truly a top man, he will be missed.
Im feeling all seasonal this week. Not only is Christmas just round the corner, but the Answerbank logo has had a winter makeover. The tech guys have done well, Im particularly liking the snowman. What do you ABers think Does it trump the autumn one
One belated birthday to announce is that of a long-term ABer, Redbel whose big day was last Wednesday and we in AB Towers hope you had a great day. If you know of any members of the AB family who has a birthday coming up then please email us and itll appear in the blog.
I have noticed that a certain Lucy Thomas is claiming that they are employed by AB to clear up the grammar on the site. Id like to nip this rumour in the bud, as grammar is not something that warrants bringing in hired help. We have no-one employed solely for that purpose, or indeed anyone called Lucy Thomas. Hope that clears things up.
A number of ABers took it upon yourselves to work out the best picture for my profile. Now, while I like the Mr Burns idea and Darth Vader has always been a hero of mine..why Alan Sugar 4getmenot seems to think I resemble him and I have to say I cant see any similarities whatsoever. Though Octavius does also suggest that I should have a picture of the grim reaper, and while not as insulting as Alan Sugar Im not sure it reflects the real me.
Keep the feedback coming in about the Beta version of AB. So far ABers seem to be in favour of it, however keep us updated on what you like and dont like. That way hopefully we in the towers can make it the best experience possible.
Rather like Englands Euro 2008 campaign, we have reached the end of the road. Unlike McClarens men I will be back next week with more musings, philosophical ramblings and general AB stuff. Speak to you soon.
