The AnswerBank Newsletter August 2011

Welcome to the August 2011 AnswerBank Newsletter.
Over the past couple of months we've seen a couple of subtle changes to The AnswerBank. We've introduced a longer question and answer cap (now 4000 characters long) and we've added a character counter so you know when you're about to run out of space.
The team has also changed the font used in questions and answers after a great number of users requested this change. We've changed the font used for the questions and answers from Arial to Verdana - the difference is subtle, but it clears up some confusion between capital I's and lower-case l's!
The AnswerBank team has also been busy trying to make it easier for new users to understand how the site works. To this end we've put together a some helpful videos which can be found here.
We cover signing in with Facebook, how to ask a question, how to answer a question as well as a My Profile walkthrough. If you see a new user struggling to use the site you can point them in the direction of these handy videos.
As always we'd love to know what you think about how the site is being run, changes and improvements you think could be made or any other comments. If you'd like to discuss the site changes please visit Suggestions, or if you've like to contact us directly feel free to email us at [email protected]
All the best,
The AnswerBank Team
