Can't you get UK net guide to make a www.thechatterbank.co.uk? Have different staff working on it so you can moderate it easier, and make it so you can sign in with your AB user name/password. If you agree answer this question and put yes.

milly- seeing as the blog section is new today, It's to be expected that folks are gonna talk about it. This is still- as far as I know- a discussion forum. If you don't like the particular discussion, it might be wise to stay off the threads involving it?

discussions in this category seem to take up the whole page most days however and Ed has made is perfectly clear whats what and given good reason so I dont really see the need to keep banging on about it.

I can only reitterate that as the Blog thingy is new, and Ed has finally decided to advise us what's happening with CB, its obvious that it will spout discussions today and quite possibly over the next few days.

If it irritates you that much why not stick to the other categories whilst this is happening?

potterfan3 there is one tiny point that no one has mentioned.....and that is the cost of running a chatterbank....that jolly old "have different staff" means pay them money..or would you pay a subscription to belong....

I think that the arrival of Chatterbank changed Answerbank for ever and those of us who used it cant seem to go back to the way it was. Pity it didnt work but there you go. Is it my imagination or are there not as many questions being asked on the other sectors since the demise of CB. I do understnad Eds predicament though.

I am really annoyed that it was originally suspended for an overhaul and I am now well ****** off that it isn't returning, so i ain't either. Sod it I've got bored with AB as the questions are so repetitive and the times I have put an obvious link up is ridiculous. it's like no one ever bothers to use Google! And don't get me start6ed on IMDB, this is where every movie is recorded, what is it with people, use the search facility on the toolbar! And how many times have people asked 'what was the song they played?...blah blah blah! Use the Internet search to find out! What is the point in asking a question, getting and answer and then not being able to chat about it all? I'm fed up with the constant blathering on about how to use this site, it was tedious, mean and unnecessary, I am sticking with Froggers, at least there if they want to find out anything they Google it and then have a proper discussion about it instead of just demanding the answer and never getting back to you.

Well as I've said before I for one don't think other categories are suffering since the demise of CB! As has also been stated before some of the regulars of CB have been partly responsible for all the bitching and so on, I would have thought it would have been easy enough to ignore all the trouble making newbees and not rise to the bait!! Also the content and language was a bit dubious this being a family site and all that......and no I'm not being a stick in the mud I was all for CB initially and was in fact one of the first if not the first to post in it!
