Its a couple of weeks now since you demolished the old Sport section and built a monstrous carbuncle in its place, do you have any figures showing how many questions/answers there have been since and how this compares to the old, much better, Sport section?

Hi Boo, i have been quiet for about a week now, but 'it' is still a rubbish sight/site, this is a civil question don't you think?
What are my chances of a decent answer though?
lol yes it is- remarkably restrained given your last lot ;-)

Your chances of a reply from Ed & Co? Slim to none I'd say, but I really do admire your determination- lol.

Good luck :-)
Just went into sport to have a look, never been there before, wtf is that all about, hope this is not a sign of the times for other topics. why fix it when its not broken. Good on ya Carig.
i did visit sport at times and enjoyed reading some of the discussions, sadly now i dont understand it.

Hi Craig007,

The new SportsAB is doing well obviously at first some people weren't happy with the new layout but we have made a number of changes and people are using SAB with pretty similar figures to what they were before.

If you want exact number though stick it in an email to the Editors address and I'll see what I can dig up for you.

AB Editor :o )

there you go craig, might need to dismount from the high horse :)
It does say it's a beta version, so hopefully they will clean up this mess. I figure it has been re-designed by someone who has never used answerbank so they don't realise what a total pig's ear they have made of it.

Unfortunately, the AB Editor seems happy with it (see above), though what her guide dog makes of it, I don't know!
PMSL at Gromit, ha,ha,ha,ha, brilliant!
nice one gromit lol..
but why change it ed and not any other section ??

thanks
its cr4p
People often don't like change. I see the new Sports section in the same light as politics. For example, take Margaret Thatcher or Tony Blair - villains in their time but universally revered now. I think we have to get used to Sport, it's up there with the sinking of the Belgrano, true, but maybe Ed is planning to grant a Premium Membership to the first person to hit 5 submissions in the new format, so it's not as funereal as it seems. There's a cycling section too, thrumming with activity.
ABed, are you by chance a politition??.............. that answer said nothing!!!!!

the only reason the new sports section seems to be doing well is because when i or anybody else dares to post a sport q anywhere else it gets moved to the sports section!!!

i think its terrible and you havent replied to my email i sent you regarding it??
whiffey

You think Tony Blair is universally revered?

Have you been at the sherry again?!

Wow, an answer from AB Editor!

I feel honoured, i am going to print the page and have it framed and hang it on the wall i think.

A rubbish answer really though, "The new SportsAB is doing well" you say, 99% of the users here would disagree with that!
And what is the difference in asking a question here or in an email? You know it isn't as popular as the old Sport section just admit you have made a **** up and change it back please!

Im gonna boycott Ab till they put the Sports section back the way it was
