People keep complaining about how there is no removal of irrelevant posts at weekends why doesn't AB ed get a regular poster to moderate all the forums at the weekends?

If, say, five individual members hit the "report" button on a post, then the offending post would be sent to, say, five moderators by e-mail. If, say, four out of five moderators agreed that it was offensive and against the rules of AnswerBank, then it would be automatically deleted.
This is nothing new, I've seen it on lots of sites and I've even been a moderator of this kind.
And I tend to agree with brawburd - we're lining peoples' pockets by using this site - why can't they put some of it back into the system and pay people to look after this site and give it the respect they want it to have?

I like the idea of users as moderators, especially if we get paid!
Presumably anyone who posts something offensive or breaks the rules of the site gets banned so I guess these things are nipped in the bud pretty quickly. I must say I've seen a lot of very silly / poorly worded / badly spelt questions but nothing offensive as yet so it must be a pretty tiny % of all the posts on this site.
