There was a series called Winning Streak that featured a 6R4 in the mid 80's, would it have been an advert for that?

I kinda assumed that PK didn't mean metro adverts (as that would be rather obvious)

But then again.... seeing who the OP is now, who knows.

Incidentally, it wasn't a MG 6R4, it was an Austin rover 6R4.

Austin Rover included an MG engined variant of the Metro from 1982. Just as with the MG Metro Turbo, the 1984 Metro 6R4 was also badged as an MG.
