There's a car advert which involves some sort of competition between office staff involving people in red, black and white cars trying to get certain parking spaces. They rush around rugby tackling each other etc. and at the end a woman shows a polaroid to a man with the cars in a certain pattern and 'you lose' written on the bottom. Can anyone explain what the hell that's all about? I mean who is competing with who and why and what pattern are they trying to achieve etc. Maybe i'm over analyzing it but I just don't get it. Can't tell you what car it is even though I've seen it hundreds of times.
I tried to figure it out for ages - then my Sister explained it to me (she'd understood it from the start). They're playing a sort of noughts and crosses/four in a row game.
its a renault "modus" ad, i thing there trying to promote the car as fun, (steriotypical office suits playing some sort of connect four like game) its a bit surreal but i think its great
uh huh, but has it prompted anyone to go out and buy a Renault?
(Well, at least it's not as bad as that stupid 'shakin' that ass' ad that drew attention to the car in question's ugly boot and made me swear never to buy it.)
