Anglia Region, signal strength
I have three TVs (Sony), two antennas - the sort of Hi-Gain required for Freeview, which were installed by a reputable TV antenna guy, and two HDD/DVD recorders - one a few months old (Panasonic) and the other about four years old (Sony)
I was told that after the Analogue Signal Shutdown, the digital signal would increase and my poor reception of a few digital stations would get much better. Well, surprise, surprise, the quality of the picture and sound has decresed substantially (sometimes I cannot watch a station for a several hours). However, most of the stations are fine and only suffer very rarely with any sort of interference, usually very minor
Before I call my local TV service centre, I would like to hear from anyone with similar problems in the Anglia Region; especially if they have been able to fix-the-problem.
I have a very bad feeling that this is going to be another situation like when Channel 5 first started, i.e. not every one could get a signal, and quite a few couldn't get a useable signal.
Answers on a postcard. Winner will be selected within 48 hours. First Prize will be a jammy-dodger.
Thanks in advance,
Sometimes I just feel tired all over, especially when I'm trying to live with modern day life's promises.

And before the switchover and after, I have done retune after return after return. It usually takes two or three before I can get all the stations. The one station that seems to always be a problem and I often have to do three scans is, Station 12. And lately station 31 has become almost impossilbe to watch.
I think I'll just get the local service guy to take a look and see what he thinks. Something is not right,
Thanks for for your replies, it's much appreciated that you took the time.
