I record a lot of programmes so that I can chase through the adverts quickly. Must admit I like the Aldi one though. Whoever thought of that was a genius. I also like the Cow and Gate ones with the laughing babies. They always make me smile.

i hate when the ad is obviously foreign and they do an english voice over....

pointless ones like (no offence) but remember...stephen hawkins...floating in space...on a specsavers ad??? did that make anyone want to buy specsavers specs? pointless!!! albeit...their ads are quite good now x

most ads are rubbish, but there's a rare gem, like the truly inspiring Hovis British history ad. I kept it on file because it as notalgic as it gets, and the little boy, who says nothing throughout is so engaging. His salute to the soldiers marching off to war in WW1 makes me want to cry

I like the ads with a sense of humour. Also from the70s/80s the birds eye beefburger ads with the boy and girl love affair - he was called Ben but can't remember her name. The hovis ads - he were a great baker were our dad - brilliant
