Bought me deck chair, nicely positioned, got my straw cowboy hat on, me glass of bacardi and diet pepsi and Garth playing outloud on the laptop, but had to come in, it's roasting! The neighbours are arguing though and so it's not all bad.

just come back from a long walk - beautiful scenery where I live and I love the heat.

Same for me, I just feel horrible in this kind of heat and not meant to be out in too much direct sun due to some of my meds.

Met some friends as one wanted some company on a mission and hadn't dawned on me we were walking quite a long way to get there (rather than getting the bus) then walking back! Was great to have a nice girly afternoon nattering on the way though. Got back and managed to end up in a nice bar with a garden seated area where there was a bit of shade while my sun worshiping friend could bask so all good.

Glad to be back in a nice cool house now but hoping it has cooled down before I have to go out again later.

I have to wear a big hat,cant get good ones here buy one every time I go to USA. Funny I lived in Dubai for 14 years and only had sunstroke once [never again] but over here without a hat for 30 mins and I feel whoozy.Been siting in the arbor doing the Sat crosswords so now I am going to desert you good folks and hop over to Quizes& Puzzles.
