Thank you. x

They are hair straightners, but really good ones.
I would bin them if I were you, fake GHD's can be dangerous.
Question Author
Can they really, in which way??
you have a full refund and some broken fake GHDs. Why on earth would you want to try and repair them?
What is wrong with fake GHD’s?

GHD that are not genuine will be of poor quality construction and will have had lack of safety checks. Fake GHD products are dangerous and could cause electrocution, serious burns and damage to your hair. The GHD 2 year guarantee is only available on genuine stylers.

cos its one of the plates that done heat up, so thought i would get them done and use them as it may just be a small repair job.
No that I know but, if they are fake items, whold anyone really know how to repair them ? Bodge jobs aside.

You have a refund, thay are defunct, why not just put them in the recycle bin.

How do hair straighteners work ? By heat ? That sounds a potential risk to me.
If it is that small a job open it up yourself and reconnect anything that has disconnected. If it is a heating element gone, then it may cost as much in labour & bits to repair, than to buy new.
