Guys ...

"good" and "food" do NOT rhyme.

Good rhymes with stood, hood, could, pud, and wood.

Food rhymes with mood, stewed, feud, hewed, and brood.

A speech impediment?! Food and fued do NOT rhyme. That's just silly!
Peeler ...

I have to love anyone with "Pal" in their name ... x

That's "Pal" as in friend ... not as in the dog food ... you understand.

Erin ... if we spoke in a noisy place, I can picture myself just nodding politely, and not really understanding what you were saying, LOL, LOL, LOL ... !!

Actually ... that applies to anyone from North of Sunningdale, really.

LOL

Oh god ... will this get me into trouble ??

=0)
Seriously??? As in "the two neighbours had had a 'food' for years" ???
Fair enough! By the sounds of things it would be mutual! Haha! ;-)
I was wondering when Mark was going to get here! :-)
Erin ... we'd have to talk in sign language.

Actually ... that works in most pubs !!

right although we have completely gone off the scale here I will prove that good doesn't rhyme with food.

here is a little rhyme and if ou know English correctl you will see::

I was out with the boys and feeling really good everything was happy in my neighbourhood, my mate b i g was in a bad mood because he hadn't eaten for ages and really needed food.

now someone tell me that food rhymes with good DONKEYS!!!! jayne I gotcha back!!
As Joggerjayne says, Wynne Evans is an accomplished tenor. He is a local boy and we've seen him (and his brother who also has a great voice) several times over the years in operatic performances (esp Puccini) and he is brilliant. I know the ad can be annoying but to us he is a local boy made good.
Of course, MR ...

Food and Feud rhyme ...

Even though Feud has an extra "y" sound.

In fact, "Feud" is just pronounced "Fyood"

Yes?
Jason ... I like the idea of him singing Cwm Rhondda back to the All Blacks when they did the Haka. That would have been jolly.

I have Cerys Matthews on my iPod singing Cwm Rhondda ... she's fab. It's from one of her CDs ... can't remember which one.
I think you might have been spending a little too much time in Sunningdale and Virginia Water where you can find some fantastically strangulated pronunciations of perfectly normal words.

Anyway, I'm off to Sunningdale Waitrose tomorrow for some food that may end in a feud if the doddery old couple who have a combined age of 417 are in there at the same timeQ

I think this is ver interesting although completel pointless and a good way to waste time! I am of now to have some good food...WOW Iam a poet!!
Sunningdale Waitrose, near the level crossing?

There's a really lovely flower shop near there. If you approach with Waitrose ahead of you on the right, and turn right into the car park, there's a flower shop on the right where I've quite often stopped off when I've been visiting pals.
Take care, P-Pal x

Eccles ... I think most couples in Sunningdale have a combined age like that.

love you jogger jayne x

murray mints??? What??
JJ do you mean the cute little hut by the station? The flowers there are lovely.

I agree that the average age of Sunningdale is scarely high but there is one couple who are a legend in Waitrose on a Friday. I'm quite happy to observe their near apocalyptic visits to the till.....I just don't, ever, want to be behind them!!!
That's the one, Eccles.

You know that if we've bought flowers from the same place, that means we're ... you know ... going steady.

No, really ... it's a rule.
JJ - I cannot imagine how many ABers are now very, very jealous of me! ;-)
