I don't know whether to laugh or cry! Was painting the bathroom and put the paint tray on the windowsill while I went to get a drink, opening the top bathroom window at the same time. I forgot that my stupid cats use the bathroom window as a catflap....... : (
Have just gone up there - one of them (havent found which bloody one yet!) has leaped in through the window, and landed in the paint tray. There is paint up the wall, over the towels, the toilet, the tiled floor - everywhere!! And to top it off the cat has then ran out of the bathroom and through the brand new landing carpet. Ohhhh, For Funks Sake.........
Is it too early for a G & T??

Something similar happened to me recently. I left a purple tin of paint open on the windowsill in the bathroom. Cat, with his big fluffy tail, came in and his tail went in the paint. Luckily our carpet hadn't been laid at that point. I only realised what he'd done when there was paint all over the kitchen floor where he sleeps!
Naughty cats.
On the plus side...it should come out. My son threw a tin of pain at his brother in temper. It took him ages to clean up...but it did come out in the end. That was white paint on a red carpet.

this happened to me. i had the task of running about the house cleaning up the paint (blue) with white spirit off the carpet (green). mr kicker and son had the pleasure of washing the kitty. when they had finished, they were both scratched to Sugar and there were even bubbles on the bathroom ceiling. much sniggering later, we did eventually have clean cat, clean floor and clean bathroom. took some doing mind! x
