MM and KM Links May 2012 Week [1]

It is shrubbery opening time once again.
This is a new month so the leaderboards have been scrubbed clean in both the KM and MM versions of the game. A clean slate means you have no excuse to not play.
Where to find them?: 'Quizzes and Puzzles' section.
When to look?: Tomorrow morning. Any time for the KM Game managed by Seekeerz, but the MM Game has time-sensitive bonus points so play early for the best chance. That one starts with an introduction at 8:45 and the game then starts promptly at 9:00.
Who Sets them?: The KM game is based on the Daily Telegraph GK Crosswords compiled by Kate Mepham (hence KM Game)
The MM Game (in honour of Kate's late father, Michael Mepham) is set by one of our own chosen fron the highest scorers for the previous month.
This month the MM game was to have been set by Lysander but she had reasons to decline the offer. Second place BigMac was the next obvious choice but it has been difficult to make contact once the initial viewers have read the results thread.
However - - -
BigMac spotted the request and emailed me late last night to say he agrees to set the links but, (and it is a BIG BUT) we have yet to establish the morning's posts.
If all goes well, BigMac will post the into at 8:45 and launch the game at 9:00. If not, then you will have to suffer an emergency substitute by myself.
Whether it is BigMac or myself, the game will go ahead. The alternative of having you all suffering 'cold turkey' is too horrendous to contemplate.
Until tomorrow then - Happy Linking

If the forecasts say we are due a summer, then as sure as eggs are eggs we are going to get a winter instead. After all, they said it was going to be dry and what happens? - you get floods.
Incidentally, Scotland has its own climate so escape the flood and visit the land of midges! Only joking - midges are are only a problem in the North and West.
