Classical music web site
Does any know of a good Classical Music website that lets you listen to samples of Classical Music Tunes for free?.
I heard this tune the other night which i liked but i don't know the composer or the title of the tune.I have heard this tune before so i think it's a popular bit of music.
It's not the tune from the Old Spice Ad

Maybe responders to your question can help by adding to this list so you can check them all out. At Amazon, if you know the album, you can listen to samples.
Other popular bits from classical pieces are the Four Seasons by Vivaldi.
You can listen online for free to the radio through that site. Any song you here on there will be listed on the playlist so you can identify it. Alternatively they're quite open to people singing down the phone to them so they can identify pieces! That would be quicker than hit and miss. CCorday is absolutely correct in listing a few popular pieces. However the list is ENDLESS. I would suggest starting with the ClassicFM Hall of Fame (on the website) that lists the 100 most popular pieces of classical music as voted for by listeners. This may help you!
Good luck! :-)
I was obviously off my trolley (mad not drunk I mean!) last night. When I said BBC - I meant UK. Good god! I shall clarify now.
www.classicfm.co.uk is the website of UK commercial radio station Classic FM. It is free to listen online, by digital or analogue radio. On the website is the "Hall of Fame" which lists (but does not have samples of) the 100 most popular tunes as voted for by the listeners of the station. The station will be happy for you to ring and sing - try calling during a Jane Jones show - she does LOADS of shows so that won't be hard! :-)
Good luck!
